Chorso Bule Highest Elevation Project Ethiopian Landrace
Summary
Chorso Bule is a washed Ethiopian Landrace coffee from Gedeb, grown at 2,450+ masl and sourced through SNAP as part of the Highest Elevation Project, which separates cherry from the highest-elevation plants at the Chorso Bule site. The lot is hand-picked at peak ripeness, floated, held in-cherry for 24 hours, de-pulped, density separated as Grade 1, dry-fermented for 24 hours, wet-fermented without submersion for a further 12 hours, then dried on raised beds for 10–14 days. Ethiopian Landrace reflects the country's genetic diversity, where most lots are blends of its many native varieties.
