Summary

A competition series coffee from the Wilder Lazo family farm El Placer in San Adolfo, Huila, Colombia. Grown at 1470-2100 meters above sea level, this Gesha variety undergoes a natural aerobic process: cherries are floated, then fermented for 7 days in plastic tanks with mucilage from other Geisha and SL28 cherries until pH 5, washed, and dried on African beds for about 25 days. The cup offers floral notes of lemongrass and jasmine, citrus of mandarin and grapefruit, and yellow fruit of white peach and apricot, with vibrant acidity and sweetness.
