Summary

Gishamwana Island sits on Lake Kivu in Rwanda, about 700 metres off the shoreline. The estate is owned by Emmanuel Rwakagara, founder of the COOPAC cooperative, and grows 100% Bourbon coffee organically under native forest shade. This washed lot is processed on the island using Rwanda's distinctive washed method with dry and wet fermentation, then slowly dried on raised beds. It delivers a clean, precise cup with notes of apple, pear, nectarine and chamomile.
