Single origin espresso from Gishamwana Island, a secluded coffee-growing island in Lake Kivu, Rwanda, owned by Emmanuel Rwakagara of the COOPAC cooperative. The coffee is 100% Bourbon, grown organically under native forest shade, and processed using the washed method with dry and wet fermentation, then soaked and slowly dried on raised beds. The cup is clean and precise with notes of apple, pear, nectarine and a soft chamomile floral finish.
