Ethiopia, Chelchele - Single Origin Espresso
Summary
A naturally processed single origin espresso from Chelchele Washing Station in Kochere Woreda, Gedeo Zone, Ethiopia. Coffee from several hundred smallholder households growing heirloom Ethiopian landraces — Kurume, Dega and Wolisho — at 1900-2400 MASL. Ripe cherry is hand sorted and dried whole on raised beds for 8 to 25 days. The cup opens with ripe cherry and rose with a musk stick lift, moves through crisp peach and settles into panela sweetness, with a full, perfumed body that carries across espresso, milk and filter.
