Summary
Chelbesa is a washed coffee from the Gedeo zone of the Woreda Gedeb district in Ethiopia, produced by Neguesse Debela. It is made from the 74110, 74112 and Heirloom varieties, grown at altitudes between 1950 and 2200 meters. The coffee is processed using the traditional washed method, with fermentation in water tanks for 24-48 hours, followed by soaking and sun-drying on raised beds for 10-14 days. It offers tasting notes of lime, peach, and orange blossom, with a bright, floral, and fruity cup profile and a creamy mouthfeel. The roast is omni, suitable for all brewing methods.
