Asman Gayo

Summary

Sumatran microlot from the Aceh region, cultivated in the Pegasing district of Takengon around the Barisan Mountains at 1300-1650m. Produced by smallholder farmers delivering ripe red cherries to the Asman Gayo Mill, managed by Cup of Excellence winner Asman Arianto, and sourced through Café Imports. A blend of Ateng, Bor Bor, Catimor and Timor varieties, natural processed with cherries dried on raised beds. Roasted lightly for filter with a stretched profile for body and sweetness. Notes of pomegranate, plum jam and a liqueur-like finish.
