La Leona
Summary
La Leona is a washed Colombian coffee from the Quindio region, produced by Luz Helena Salazar. Made from Caturra variety beans grown at 1450-1500 meters above sea level. The cherries underwent 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped, then gently washed and dried in temperature-controlled conditions. The cup is balanced and well-rounded with notes of blood orange, raspberry, and caramel, featuring a long satisfying finish. It offers bright citrus acidity and brown sugar sweetness, suited for both filter and espresso brewing.
