Ethiopia Beshasha
Summary
Ethiopia Beshasha is a washed single-origin coffee from the Jimma zone of south-western Ethiopia, grown by smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the Beshasha washing station at elevations of 1,860–2,160 metres. The heirloom variety is cultivated organically under native forest shade, then depulped, fermented in water for 36–48 hours, washed and dried slowly on raised beds. The cup shows soft peach and bergamot with the elegance of black tea, a clean and balanced washed Ethiopian profile.
