Summary

Ethiopian filter coffee from Kayon Mountain, a family farm in Shakiso, Guji, run by Ismael Hassen Aredo since 2012. Around 500 hectares between the villages of Taro and Sewana, with coffee growing under acacia and native trees at 2100 m. Local heirloom varieties, naturally processed: ripe cherries are hand-selected and dried whole on raised beds. The high altitude, local varieties and natural processing give an aromatic, sweet, fruity profile with floral character and vibrant acidity.
