Uraga
Summary
Ethiopian filter coffee from the Uraga washing station in the Guji region, an area formerly part of Yirgacheffe. Produced by smallholder farmers from Heirloom and JARC varieties, it underwent carbonic maceration — a wine-inspired fermentation in a carbon dioxide-rich, sealed environment — followed by washing and slow drying on raised African beds. The cup is intensely fruity and sweet, with notes of juicy yellow peaches, ripe mirabelle plums and red pomegranate seeds.
