Espresso - Costa Rica - Hacienda Sonora
Summary
Espresso from Hacienda Sonora in Costa Rica's Central Valley (Alajuela, Grecia), grown at 1300 m by producer Alberto Guardia. The Obata jaune variety was processed naturally: selectively hand-picked ripe cherries dried on raised beds or patio and regularly turned for even drying. Hacienda Sonora sits at the foot of Poás volcano and runs on renewable hydroelectric energy, with 45 hectares of shade-grown coffee alongside preserved forest. Tasting notes of tropical fruits, cherry, milk chocolate and grape.
