Summary
A Gesha coffee from the Cañas Verdes region in Boquete, Panama, produced by José Luttrell at Hacienda Cañas Verdes. Grown at 1550 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soils with native shade trees. Cherries are hand-picked, hand-sorted, and processed using a double phased submerged anaerobic natural method: 72 hours of sun drying, 96 hours of anaerobic fermentation in sealed Grainpro bags submerged in spring water, then 25 days of sun drying on raised beds. The cup is intense and complex with notes of strawberry, mango, mandarin, and orange. It scored 93 in the roaster's cupping.
