Ethiopia Guji
Summary
Single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the Guji region, grown at 1750–1950 m above sea level in the Bensa Woreda, Sidama region. Produced by about 350 smallholder farmers and processed at the Alemu Adama station using traditional Ethiopian varieties 74110, 74112 and 74158. The coffee is processed by washed or natural method, resulting in a clean, complex cup with a pronounced origin character. The flavour profile features dark chocolate, almonds, strawberries and sour cherries, with low acidity and a bitter, chocolatey finish. Roasted for a traditional espresso, it is well suited for automatic coffee machines.
