Ethiopia | Keramo Adara
Summary
Washed Ethiopian coffee from the Keramo Adara washing station in the Bombe mountain range, Bensa, Sidama, grown at elevations up to 2350 MASL. About 1500 smallholder producers contribute cherry to this lot, with the primary variety Heirloom 74112. Managed by Asefa Dukamo Korma of Daye Bensa, who also export the lot. Cherries are collected at peak ripeness, sorted, depulped, then fermented in water for 36-72 hours before being rinsed and dried on raised beds for 12-15 days. The cup is bright and crisp with pointed acidity and structured florality, with notes of peach rings, limeade, pear and elderflower.
