Chelbesa One
Summary
This coffee comes from the Chelbesa washing station in Gedeb, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Harvested from December to January 2026, approximately 1,000 local smallholder farmers deliver cherries from farms situated between 1,950 and 2,200 MASL. The primary varieties grown are Kurume and Wolisho. The coffee is washed: cherries are depulped, undergo dry fermentation for 48-72 hours, rinsed, and dried on raised beds for 7-10 days. Tasting notes include peach jam, jasmine, limeade, and sweet orange.
