Burundi Kibingo Oro (fully Washed In Open Tanks With Lalcafé-oro-yeast)
Summary
A single origin coffee from Burundi, produced by family farms around the Masha Washing Station in the Gihororo region of Kayanza Province. Grown at 1650-1685 meters above sea level. The coffee is of the Red Bourbon variety. Processed using a fully washed method in open tanks with Lalcafé-ORO-Yeast, followed by drying on raised beds. The yeast treatment extends fermentation time, enhancing fruity characteristics, complexity, sweetness, and acidity. Tasting notes include blood orange, floral, green apple, with bright berries, citrus, and a black tea body.
