Rwanda – Inzovu Espresso
Summary
Rwanda Inzovu coffee is grown by smallholder farmers across various coffee-growing regions of Rwanda, most cultivating plots with fewer than 300 trees. Cherries are delivered to local washing stations where they undergo careful hand sorting and flotation, then pulped using Disc and Eco Pulper machines, washed, and dried on raised African drying beds for 10-14 days. This washed-process coffee is grown at 1700m elevation in the Nyamasheke region. It offers flavour notes of black currant, blue grape, and dark chocolate. The variety is Red Bourbon.
