Etiópia – Chelbesa
Summary
A washed Ethiopian coffee from the Chelbesa washing station in Yirgacheffe, grown at 1950 meters on volcanic soil. Hand-picked cherries are sorted by density, fermented for 2-3 days, washed in clean water channels, and dried on raised African beds for 7-10 days. Heirloom varieties produce a silky, tea-like body with bright citrus acidity and a floral, clean, sweet finish. Flavor notes include jasmine, lemon, and caramel.
