Summary

Single-origin washed Ethiopian coffee from the Chelbesa washing station in the Yirgacheffe region, grown at 1950 m on rich volcanic soil. Hand-picked fully ripe cherries undergo density sorting, traditional 2-3 day wet fermentation, channel washing and 7-10 day raised-bed drying. Heirloom variety. Intended for espresso, with a silky, tea-like body, bright citrus acidity and a floral, clean, sweet finish. Flavour notes include peach, black tea, lemon, jasmine and caramel.
