Summary
Negele Gorbitu is a natural processed coffee from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, produced by members of the Negele Gorbitu Cooperative, founded in 1975 and comprising over a thousand smallholder farmers. The coffee is grown at 1995-2020 masl altitude. The variety is Ethiopian Heirloom. Processing method is Classic Natural on raised beds, where ripe cherries are sun-dried for 12-15 days with regular turning. Cup notes include Blueberry, Caramelised Pineapple, Grape, and Violet. Suggested for both espresso and filter brewing.
