Disco Candy
Summary
Disco candy is a specialty coffee from Colombia, grown at 1700 m on the Quebraditas farm by farmer Edinson Argote. It is made from the Ombligon variety, a modern variety with Ethiopian genetics known for good yield and pest resistance. The coffee is processed as natural with an enzymatic fermentation: ripe cherries are dusted with enzymes and fermented for two days in containers with thermal shocks to control temperature. Flavour notes include blackberry candies, cherries and herbs. It suits filter brewing (Hoop, Pulsar, V60, batch brew, Aeropress) as well as espresso. Available in 200 g and 1000 g packages.
