Crazy Pop
Summary
Crazy pop is a limited edition single-origin coffee from Colombia, grown at 1700 m by farmer Edinson Argote at Finca Quebraditas. It is of the modern Caturra Chiroso variety, which carries Ethiopian genetics. The coffee is processed as a natural with enzymatic fermentation: ripe cherries are sorted, dusted with enzymes, and fermented for 4 days in containers with several thermal shock steps to control temperature, then dried and hulled. The cup is juicy and fresh, with flavours of raspberry cake and stone fruit. It is recommended for both filter brewing (V60, Hoop, Pulsar, batch brew, Aeropress) and espresso.
