Summary

Single-origin washed filter coffee from the Ayarza cherry mill in Santa Rosa, Guatemala, a region known for its volcanic landscape and the cold blue waters of Laguna de Ayarza and Laguna Azul. Ripe cherries are bought directly from local farmers and processed centrally for strict quality control and fair premiums. Producer Francisco Nájera has grown coffee here for over 15 years and runs a coffee nursery supporting local farmers. Varieties include Bourbon, Caturra and Catuai. In the cup expect sweet plum, brown sugar and caramelised praline, a classic Guatemalan flavour profile.
