Burundi- Gaharo Hill
Summary
Specialty coffee from Gaharo Hill in the Kayanza Province of Burundi, grown at 1,760 masl. The Bukeye Washing Station, built by the local community, receives ripe cherries from neighbouring farmers; this natural lot is hand-sorted and dried whole on raised African beds for 25-30 days, concentrating sweetness and fruit. Red Bourbon variety with a vibrant, juicy and intensely sweet cup. Tasting notes of sweet plum, raspberry and black tea. Roasted for filter.
