Ethiopia - Gogogu
Summary
This coffee comes from the Gogogu washing station in the Kofee district of Guji, Ethiopia. Over 700 smallholder farmers, each tending around 2 hectares, deliver ripe cherries from within 5km of the mill. Cherries are depulped same-day, fermented 8-12 hours, washed, then dried on raised beds for 5-15 days. Grown at high altitudes in rich red highland soil, it offers a sweet profile with notes of nectarine and lemon zest. Washed process, Heirloom variety.
