Nemba is a coffee from the Kayanza region of Burundi, produced by 1,074 smallholder farmers and processed at the Nemba washing station. The variety is Red Bourbon, grown at altitudes between 1,313 and 1,700 meters. The processing method is yeast inoculated natural, using LALCAFÉ INTENSO™ yeast for controlled fermentation. The cup profile features notes of pomegranate, black currant, hibiscus, and cocoa, with a complex and intense profile, bright acidity, and a dark chocolate finish. Cupping score: 87.00.
