A natural-process Ethiopian coffee from Hambela Buliye, a natural-processing site in Guji managed by Kedir and Esmael Hassan, who work with around 200 registered smallholder farmers from the kebeles of Buliye, Wamana, Borticha, Dari Rogicha and Dabaye. Ripe cherries are dried whole on raised beds at roughly 2,150-2,200 metres for three to four weeks, building saturated fruit and sweetness while retaining structure and acidity. Tasting notes of orange fruits, melonberry, ginger candy, blueberry and plum, with caramelized sugars and ripe plum emerging as it cools.
