Summary
Herchere is a light roast Ethiopian specialty coffee from the Guji highlands, produced by the family-owned Shonora Coffee (Shonora Trading PLC), founded by brothers Adugna and Morkata Shonora. The coffee is grown at 2,200 meters elevation under indigenous shade trees. The lot from Herchere village is fermented for 72 hours and dried on raised beds for 12 days using a washed process. It offers an elegant, floral and fruity profile with notes of peach, citrus, jasmine, black tea, bergamot, and brown sugar. The variety is Heirloom.
