Summary
This coffee comes from Altieri Specialty Coffee farms in Boquete, Panama. Produced in collaboration with Ivica Cvetanovski and Roger Pitti, this Geisha variety is grown at 1,800-2,200 masl. The coffee undergoes an anaerobic dry fermentation process (CCX method) where cherries are manually selected and fermented for 192 hours in controlled containers, then sun-dried in a greenhouse until 11% humidity. Flavour notes include green grape, peach, pear, lychee, and rose with a juicy, light body and citric acidity. Scored 93.5 and won the WCIGS competition in Milan 2022. Optimized for filter brewing.
