Summary
A coffee from Burundi's Kayanza province, Gihororo district. Produced by over 2,000 smallholder farmers around the Masha washing station, established in 1989 at 1500-1800 meters altitude. The station is operated by Greenco, an organization that runs 13 washing stations in northern Burundi. Coffee is of the Red Bourbon variety, processed using washed method with spontaneous fermentation. Flavour notes include rosehip, raspberry and lime.
