
Gargari Gutity
Summary
Gargari Gutity is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the Gedeb district in the Yirgacheffe region, grown at 2000-2300 masl. It is produced by about 3,200 smallholder farmers and processed at the Gargari washing station, operated by Primrose and managed by Birhanu Geda. The lot features the 74110 variety native to the Gargari area. Cherries are fermented for 12 hours after depulping, washed, then fermented again for 48-72 hours, and finally dried on raised beds for 8-12 days. Flavour notes include peach, black tea and lime.
