Burundi Nemba

Summary

A single origin coffee from Burundi's Kayanza Province, produced by smallholder farmers delivering to the Nemba Washing Station. The coffee is made from Bourbon varieties grown at high altitude. Processed using the washed method: cherries are sorted, depulped, dry fermented for 12 hours, followed by secondary underwater fermentation for 12-24 hours, then washed and dried on raised beds. Flavour notes include cranberry, dried fig, and allspice, offering a bright and direct cup profile with tart-sweet berry tones and a long spiced finish.
