Salt Marsh® Coffee – Organic Coffee

Summary

A unique aged coffee from Colombia, processed in North Norfolk. The beans are hung in sacks in a boat shed near the sea, exposed to moisture-saturated, salt-laden winds, which swell the beans and reduce acidity. This slow aging imparts a rich, mellow flavour with a smooth mouthfeel and a salted popcorn finish. Expect notes of brown butter, demerara sugar, macadamia nuts, red apple, caramel, and malty sweetness. The coffee is grown at high altitudes in volcanic soils and is full-bodied.
