Summary
This microlot coffee comes from Finca Potrerito, the farm of Leonel Campo in the Pueblo Nuevo indigenous reservation, Caldono, Cauca, Colombia. Leonel is a member of the Comepcafe cooperative. The coffee is grown at 2000-2100 masl under shade trees of plantain and Leucaena. Varieties are Castillo and Supremo. Processed using traditional washed methods with slow patio drying for 2-3 weeks. Flavour notes include pistachio aroma, pomelo, white sugar, and chamomile, with medium-high acidity and medium body. Best suited for filter brewing methods such as pour-over, Aeropress, and Chemex.
