Bali Karana
Summary
Bali Karana is a coffee from the Kintamani region in the highlands of Bali, Indonesia, near Mount Batur. The coffee is organically grown by farmers organized in the Subak Abian group. Harvested from May to October, the coffee undergoes natural processing with hand-picked ripe cherries dried with the fruit intact. The cup profile is characterized by restrained acidity, full body, and a rich, well-structured flavor with a long finish featuring notes of blue grape, muscovado, and porter. Varieties are Kartika and S795, grown at 1200 meters elevation.
