Summary
A washed single-origin coffee from the highlands of Chelbesa in the Gedeb zone, Yirgacheffe region, Ethiopia. Grown at 2,173 meters above sea level by 672 smallholder farmers and processed at the SNAP washing station. The coffee is made from Kurume, Wolisho, and Dega varieties, all traditional Ethiopian heirloom cultivars. The washed processing involves sorting, pulping, fermentation for 1-2 days, soaking, and drying on raised beds for 7-10 days. Flavour profile features sparkling citrus, jasmine, and floral notes with the classic Yirgacheffe elegance. Suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
