Summary

This coffee comes from the Gatuya Coffee Factory in Murang'a County, Kenya, part of the New Murarandia Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS). Smallholder farmers grow the coffee at 1850 masl. The varieties are SL28, SL34, Ruiru11, and Batian. The coffee undergoes washed processing: cherries are pulped, soaked overnight in cement tanks, cleaned through water channels, and dried on raised beds for 7-15 days. Flavour notes include blackcurrant, peach, and grapefruit. Filter roast.
