Colombia — Cgle Sudan Rume
Summary
Naturally processed Sudan Rume from Café Granja La Esperanza in Caicedonia, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, grown at 1500-1900 masl. Cherries at peak ripeness are floated, then fermented in two stages — 48 hours in open tanks followed by 72 hours in sealed tanks — before mechanical drying for 8-12 days at 38°C and resting in climate-controlled storage. A rare variety prized for floral aromatics and a bright, tea-like character, with vibrant blueberry and fresh lemongrass notes. Part of the roaster's 10-Year Series.
