Augustus Gloop – Guatemala
Summary
Single-origin Guatemalan coffee from La Libertad, Huehuetenango, produced by Jorge Vides at Finca La Bolsa (El Buho). Grown at 1800 masl from Caturra and Bourbon varieties and washed processed. Medium-light roast with medium body and medium acidity, offering layered notes of dry cocoa, dark chocolate and creamy milk chocolate lifted by candied apple and pear. Suited to both espresso and filter brewing; pushing extraction brings out its chocolate character.
