A washed coffee from the Gichuka Coffee Factory in Kiambu County, Kenya, owned by the Kimaratia Farmer Cooperative Society (FCS). Grown at 1800-1850 metres above sea level on nutrient-rich red soils. Varieties include SL 28, SL 34, and Ruiru 11. Processed using the fully washed method with pulping, overnight fermentation in cement tanks, and sun drying on raised beds. Tasting notes of blackcurrant and cranberry. Roasted as an espresso profile.
