Summary

A single-origin filter coffee from the Gichuka Coffee Factory in Kiambu County, Kenya, owned by the Kimaratia Farmer Cooperative Society (FCS). Grown at 1800-1850 metres above sea level on bright red, nutrient-rich soils. The coffee is fully washed: cherries are pulped, soaked overnight in cement tanks, cleaned through water channels, and sun-dried on raised beds. Varieties include SL 28, SL 34, and Ruiru 11. Tasting notes of blackcurrant and cranberry.
