Summary
Hacienda Colima is a single-origin microlot from Costa Rica, produced by fifth-generation coffee grower Alejo Castro Kahle at his farm located on the slopes of the Brava Volcano in Heredia. The coffee is grown at 1400-1500 metres above sea level in fertile volcanic soil. It is a Natural processed Caturra variety, with flavour notes of Peach, Caramelized Pineapple, Honey, and Dark Chocolate. The Castro-Kahle family has been growing coffee in Costa Rica for over 100 years, cultivating multiple varieties and preserving forest areas for biodiversity.
