La Maravilla
Summary
La Maravilla is a single-origin washed coffee from the family-run Rosales farm in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Guatemala. Founded in 1997 by Guillermo and Mauricio Rosales, the farm is now managed by Mauricio and his son Luis. Grown at 1650-1800m, the coffee consists of Bourbon and Caturra varieties. The washed processing results in a familiar chocolate-nut profile with notes of chocolate cream, pecan nut, and orange zest. The farm focuses on sustainable practices including forest preservation, water treatment, and avoiding chemical herbicides.
