Ethiopia - Idido

Summary

A sundried natural coffee from the Idido area in Yirgacheffe, Gedeo Zone, Ethiopia. Grown by smallholder producers at 2,000-2,200 meters, the cherries are processed at the Mikiyas Bogale washing station, where ripe red cherries are sorted and dried whole on raised African beds. The natural process gives a juicy fruit profile with strawberry, blueberry and red grape notes, plenty of sweetness, and a clean, lively cup. Works well as both filter and espresso.
