Costa Rica Tarrazu

Summary

A single-origin coffee from Costa Rica's renowned Tarrazu region. Grown on volcanic soils between the Pacific coast and central mountain ranges, benefiting from tropical sun, adequate rainfall, cool night temperatures and gentle sea breezes. The coffee is exclusively Arabica, processed as a light roast. The tasting profile offers medium body, medium acidity with citrus notes, plum and chocolate flavours. Costa Rica has protected over a quarter of its land as national parks and has produced exclusively Arabica coffee of selected quality since the mid-1990s.
