Summary
BLACK SAND is a specialty blend from Roastopus, combining 50% Lalisaa from Ethiopia (Sidamo region, produced by Samuel Tunisisa) and 50% Vilas Boas from Brazil (Conceição das Pedras, Cerrado Mineiro, produced by Antônio José de Vilas Boas and family). Both components are dry processed. The Ethiopian component is grown at 2380 m from local heirloom varieties, while the Brazilian component is grown at 1300 m and is of the Red Catuaí variety. Flavour notes include milk chocolate, sour cherry, and caramel. Roasted light for espresso.
