Summary
Landrace is an Ethiopian coffee from the Danche washing station in the Gedeb region of the Gedeo Zone. It combines Natural and Washed processed lots from the Danche station, managed by Ferew Ayalew. The coffee is sweet and fragrant with notes of apple, golden raisin and cinnamon, reminiscent of apple strudel. With milk the flavours soften to apple pie and vanilla custard. Grown at 2,000-2,300 MASL. Designed as an espresso.
