Gesha - Marleny Imbachi
Summary
A washed Gesha from Marleny Imbachi, a smallholder farmer in Kennedy, San Agustin, Huila, Colombia. The coffee is exceptionally light and delicate, with a sweet, perfume-like aroma of hibiscus and fresh rosewater. In the cup, it offers soothing chamomile and sweet candied berries, revealing bright, creamy sweetness of lemon meringue and juicy pomelo as it cools. It finishes remarkably clean with a lingering aftertaste of premium white tea. The washed process involves a controlled 40-hour fermentation and slow drying on raised beds for 18-20 days, preserving bright acidity and complex floral notes.
