Summary
A cascara (coffee cherry husk tea) from the famous Costa Rican farm Finca Las Lajas, run by Oscar and Francisca Chacón in the Pérez Zeledón district of San José. Grown at 1,300–1,500 meters above sea level. The coffee trees are of the Bourbon variety and are processed using the Natural method. The cascara offers a flavor profile of rosehip, hibiscus flower, red currant, and a mango aftertaste. Contains 20–30% more caffeine than filtered coffee and is rich in natural antioxidants.
